Here’s some footage of Destiny’s Child auditioning for Columbia Records back in 1997. From this time and the time they released their self-titled debut CD, there had been some major vocal training and artist development…into what we now call one of the greatest R & B girl group of all time.

I was on YouTube searching for old school videos and ran across this. I can’t believe the courage she had to stay on stage and sing after being booed. Granted she didn’t have the best voice back then but damn how things change.

This is one of my favorite songs and videos from back in the day, 1995 to be exact. Unfortunely, this song was like a one hit wonder for them. I used to be in the back of the classroom bangin’ this beat on the desks. I loved the beat and the way they sang the song. Just figured I’d start a lil something bringing the old school back. It’s always nice to reminisce.
