Day 26 Album Cover

This is the official cover for Day 26’s second albun release entitled “Forever In A Day”. The album will be released on April 14 and contains some of the songs that I’ve posted previously.
Keri’s getting some major publicity now that tracks are leaking and she’s supposedly dissing who know who on remixes. Well, here’s something else that’s gonna keep people talking. She and Kanye “Make Love” in this teaser video for her album release on March 24. It’s kinda odd that she made Kanye her love interest in this viral clip but not to shabby either…he’s got his own swag about him. Check it out!

Lil’ Wayne’s Rock LP Release

Lil’ Wayne announced the official release date and title of his next album: Rebirth is due April 7 — and his publicist has confirmed to MTV News that it will be a rock album.
The first single is called “Prom Queen” (listen here)and will debut on the Internet right after a live stream of his concert in San Diego on January 27. The show will be available for stream on MySpace.com.
Wayne — who will perform at the Grammy Awards on February 8 — hinted at a change in direction for his next LP in October during the BET Hip-Hop Awards.
“I don’t know if we’re gonna release Tha Carter IV now,” he told MTV News on his tour bus. “I think we’re gonna release Tha Carter III — a new Carter III with none of the same songs, though. None of them. Not one! We don’t wanna call the [next album] we got coming out Tha Carter IV. That was the dilemma we were in. We want Carter IV to be what everybody wants it to be.
“This is something brand new, so we don’t want it to be some experimental thing, ’cause some people are not gonna like this. I don’t want them to not like Tha Carter IV. But I do have an album coming soon, very soon, and it’s gonna be called … Tha Carter III: The Rebirth. The birth of a new beginning.”
I think it’s time for Wayne to do something different and this just might be it. I don’t know whether it’s gonna be a hip-hop/rock fusion type of record but I’m hoping he ain’t going straight rock either. We’ll see whether he can do another milli in a week with this one.
Mariah Carey has rerecorded her classic hit “Hero” for a new compilation called The Ballads, available in the U.S. on January 20 through her former Sony Music label.
The album will feature 18 of Mariah’s best-known songs including “One Sweet Day,” “Vision of Love,” “Always Be My Baby,” and “Dreamlover.” Watch the accompanying “Hero” video below.

Jamie Foxx is preparing to release his sophmore effort entitled Intuition, due is stores Tuesday, December 16, 2008. The new album contains productions from Tricky Stewart & The Dream, as well as Timbaland, hitmaker Ne-Yo, as well as Sean Garrett, and Salaam Remi. Even though he’s kinda changing up his style a little bit, I think this new album will be good for Jamie, considering that we haven’t heard anything from him musically since 2005’s hugely successful Unpredictable.
