Fantasia says she found out she had tumors in her throat while she was acting in the Broadway play, The Color Purple. She recently got the tumors removed and is also working on obtaining her high school diploma.

Oscar winner Jamie Foxx is taking a break from Hollywood to release ‘Intuition,’ the follow-up to 2005’s ‘Unpredictable’, this December…
Due Dec. 16 from J Records, the set is preceded by the single “Just Like Me” featuring T.I., which is the top debut this week at No. 48 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
The track, which was co-written and produced by the hitmaking team of the-Dream and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, goes to digital retailers on Tuesday.
‘Intuition’ will also feature contributions from Timbaland, Ne-Yo, Sean Garrett, Salaam Remi and Carlos McKinney, among others. It’s the follow-up to 2005’s “Unpredictable,” which has sold 1.98 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Foxx next appears alongside Robert Downey Jr. in “The Soloist,” which opens March 13 in U.S. theaters.
T.I. remains ‘King’ of the charts for the seventh week with some competition from Beyonce and Rihanna. Holding tight at No. 1 is T.I.’s hit single “Whatever You Like” which reached No. 1 earlier this month. Just one spot below the Hot 100 hit, T.I.’s new single featuring Rihanna entitled “Live Your Life” slides in at No. 2 this week, besting Beyonce’s new single “If I Were A Boy.”
”If I Were A Boy,” the first single from Beyonce’s third studio album “I Am… Sasha Fierce,” lands at No. 3 this week on the strength of 190,000 downloads according to Nielsen Soundscan.
