The freaks come out in the video for Usher’s “Lil Freak,” the second single from Raymond v. Raymond. Nicki Minaj is on the prowl to find a cutie for Ursh in the TAJ-directed clip. The dark, underground club scene is full of tempting treats, including Ciara, who makes a cameo along with Jamie Foxx.
Usher’s sixth album, Raymond v. Raymond, will be released March 30.
Usher releases his new video for first single, Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home) from forthcoming sixth studio album, Raymond vs. Raymond which is set to hit stores on March 30th.

Usher feat. Will.I.Am – Oh My Gosh LISTEN
I like Usher and Will.I.Am’s collabs (i.e. “What’s Your Name?” on his Here I Stand album)…the auto-tune not so much ’cause Usher really doesn’t need it. Will put his futuristic touch on it and Boom, Boom, Pow…you gotta a great song!! By the way, I hope that all these songs that are leaking are gonna be on the CD, ’cause the most of them are tight!

Mariah Carey feat. Nicki Minaj – Up Out My Face [REMIX] LISTEN
Mariah’s releasing another remix CD, Angels Advocate, and this is one of the appearing tracks. Young Money’s First Lady adds her brash style to the remix. I’m really lovin’ everything Nicki is on right now…she’s so different lyrically and her flow is crazy…’bout time for the ladies to be on top again!

Trina feat. Lady Gaga – Let Dem Hoes Fight LISTEN
I just thought the title was crazy…the song ain’t really wassup though. Good to see that Trina coming out with another CD soon, supposedly June 8th…but good luck with that!
Trina feat. Keri Hilson and Diddy – Million Dollar Girl LISTEN
I’m not too much of a Trina fan but this track caught me ’cause my girl Keri is on it. This is the first single from Trina’s upcoming Amazin’ CD.

Usher – Foolin Around LISTEN and There Goes My Baby LISTEN
Both of these tracks are kinda slow and mellow with Foolin’ Around being produced by B. Cox and Jermaine Dupri and the latter tracks displays Usher’s range a little more…but neither are a favorite of the tracks that have leaked from his project to date.
Brandy -Between Me and You LISTEN and Romeo and Juliet LISTEN
Brandy’s sure be making a comeback soon…she’s been leaking tracks left and right and featured on songs with Timbaland and Snoop. I’m really liking these two tracks which were produced by Stargate.

Trey Songz feat. Usher and Keri Hilson – I Invented Sex (RMX) LISTEN
Sounds like a HIT to me…LOL! Usher and Keri help Trey re-invent sex on this remix which is fire! He’ll be releasing, Up Close & Ready, an EP containing live renditions of his greatest hits, exclusively to iTunes tomorrow.
Usher – Stay Down LISTEN
Usher is baaackkk!! The latest songs that have leaked have all been dope with this song being no exception. It’s a track from his latest project, Raymond vs. Raymond, that was produced by Danja and co-written by Pooh Bear and the newly Grammy-nominated Kevin Cossom (“Knock You Down”).

We The Best is back with another collab from the usual suspects and Usher and Drake. This will be DJ Khaled’s first single from his fourth studio album, Victory, due in early 2010. It’s really not what I expected it to be but you really can’t go wrong with a Drake verse and Ursher hook.

Looks like some material from Usher’s sixth studio album tentatively titled, Raymond vs. Raymond, has leaked. The highly anticipated song titled, Papers, was written and produced by Sean Garrett and Zaytoven.
Usher covers Vegas Magazine
Jul 24

Usher is the first male on the cover of Vegas Magazine in its six years in production. In the mag, Usher talks about his new fragrance Usher VIP (his third fragrance with Elizabeth Arden), recording in Vegas, his new studio album, MONSTER, and more. Here’s an excerpt:
rying to pin down what Usher has been up to lately could take hours of interviews and a river of ink. At the moment, he’s set to release his sixth studio album, Monster, as well as the third fragrance in his collection, VIP. Then there’s his philanthropy work and his eponymous foundation (through which 20 teens will get to direct the first video off Monster). On top of all that, he’s the father of two young sons, one-and-a-half-year-old Usher Raymond V and seven-month-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. (”That’s all I need, a daughter to make me superweak,” he jokes about adding to his brood.) In June, he announced his separation from his wife of two years, Tameka Foster.
With this much going on in his life, it’s no wonder that Usher sequestered himself and his crew in Las Vegas to produce Monster. Usher and his team, including music superstars Pharrell, Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox, rented out the third floor of the Palms Resort Casino, then made a daily commute to the resort’s in-house recording studio, where everyone from Elton John to Mary J Blige to Axl Rose has laid down tracks. “Vegas is good livin’, a product of positive energy, upward thinking,” Usher says. “Every time we’d go out to a club, there would be motivation there. [Recording in Vegas] allowed me to open my mind and just be creative and think outside the box.”

Here’s the continuation video from Jermaine’s YouTube Series ‘Livin’ the Life’. Johnta’s askin’ relationship questions and Usher’s in the booth seemingly previewing a new song from his upcoming CD. Check out my previous post for the first video.
